Seeing Cyan.
Just got sent the newest track from Kindness. I constantly include the cover version of Swinging Party in my DJ sets - and am pretty amped to see new stuff coming out.
Little is known or shared on this mysterious entity - but the music speaks for itself. This is the first single, recorded with Philip Zdar, off a forthcoming full length to be released on Female Energy Records on October 24th in the UK. It will see an October 25th release in the US on Terrible Records on limited to 500 12"s. Grip it.

Tropical Oblique.
Every mix I get from Pierre-Arnaud, aka le club eskimoo, is magic. His blog is equally as amazing and very consistent. Killer mix dude...been jamming it all week.

Say Speakeasy for me.
Some nice shots from a fun party I played in conjunction with Ingenuity Festival. Good times. Thanks for capturing the evening Patrick Murphy!

Cinamon Chasers.
I've been meaning to post about todays artist/track for a while now. I'm a lazy bum Laura!
Well here we go. Cinnamon Chasers is a nu-disco alias of music producer Russ Davies, exploring the colorful world of fluro-electro beats, warm melodiums and tripped out italo. The track Tattoo below has been really doing it for me as of late. Expect this at near-peak-time-fun-time from me. Big summer sound.

Cosmic Balearic Journey
It's finally safe to say Summer is upon us. And I've got the perfect mix for poolside drinks and dimly lit backroom nights from artist Antony Kein.

Determination.
A killer cut off of DJHistory's Secret Weapons release from last year. Taken from the liner notes...
"A kind of Prince meets space boogie proto-house with a positive message in the lyric. It sounds so fresh, despite being 20-odd years old."

Back with a bonus.
I was kinda underwhelmed by the Wolfram album on first listen. I wasn't sure what it wanted itself to be. I'm still not sure what the album is supposed to be, but I am waaay more into it now. Go figure.
Enjoy the bonus (and i.m.o. the most epic) track from the release...the eleven minute plus "Club Mix" of Hold My Breath feat Holy Ghost!

Ode to Diana.
p.s.
After a year of service from DivShare, I've cancelled my account. DivShare gets a 6.5 outta 10 for paid file hosting service. Servers went down or were 'in maintenance' several times thoughout my service. FYI. The Bottin track is a 7 day YouSendIt link.

Hello Monday.
This track sums up my outlook on life today. A big thanks to the fine folks over at Colette for including this left field gem on the Discolette comp. Top shelf weirdness!

Joy Revision
Happy New Year everybody! Hope 2010 was a good one :: and here's to 2011 being even better. At the tail end of last year, the homie Shawn Ryan sent over a nice little promo package of his Joy Revision edits. Shawn is a Philly based DJ/producer who I've been lucky enough to know for a couple years now. The digital only release comes courtesy of Gazeebo and can be found at Juno Download. Nicely done Shawn!
Shawn's own words on the release..."There's a driving Sylvester song , a super funky b-side from Haircut 100, and a percussion laden slow burner by Dennis Coffey".
Check out all tracks below on SoundCloud and head over to JunoDownload to buy 'em.
